We've hosted websites since the '80's with a lot of free hosting companies, and later with a lot of hosting companies which promised support,
but either didn't provide us with the support we needed or wanted to charge us an arm and a leg for support. Most of our sites today are hosted at GoDaddy because their hosting plans are very reasonably priced, and
the configuration they use allows us to host many complicated scripts that most hosting companies do not allow. Our only bit of advice with GoDaddy is that you decide what you want to use for scripts on your
website before you choose GoDaddy, because they will not change their hosting configuration one iota for anyone. Their support is excellent as far as providing a snappy reply to your questions, but unfortunately
their most common reply to most requests is that they are unable to help.
Fortunately for us, we don't need tech support for the programs we run. We simply need the hosting platform, so we're happy with
them. We can also assist you with your GoDaddy account even if they won't help you. No worries mate if you decide to host with these guys...
A nice feature that most people will love is that GoDaddy has
quite a variety of scripts that you can install on your website with the click of a few buttons or with simple input of the directory you want the script installed in, and your desired username and password for the
script. These scripts include forums, blogs, shopping carts and even complex community management systems like PostNuke, DotNetNuke, Community Server, WordPress, PmWiki, etc...for which you need to have zero or
very little technical or programming ability to manage.
Enough about GoDaddy...We will be happy to help you wherever you decide to host your site! By clicking on the banner above you can order hosting at the
same price as ordering directly from godaddy.com and we earn 20% commission on the sale. To show you that I'm not promoting GoDaddy for money alone, I'll email you a
